Know the emissions behind every delivery.

EmiTrax calculates greenhouse gas emissions for road freight in Nigeria and the UK, using your own trip, fuel and load records. Every figure shows where it came from, and anything that can't be measured yet is marked as missing instead of being quietly left out.

Who it's for

Built for the businesses that move goods by road

Customers, investors and regulators are starting to ask how much carbon your deliveries produce. EmiTrax gives you a figure you can stand behind, trip by trip.

Freight and delivery platforms

Calculate emissions for every completed job and show each business customer their own figures.

Fleet operators

Turn fuel logs and trip sheets into monthly emissions reports for your trucks, vans and bikes.

Logistics companies

Answer customer and tender questions about transport emissions with documented numbers.

Businesses that ship goods

Understand the emissions from the deliveries you pay for, including shared loads.

Business solutions

Two ways to use EmiTrax

Connect it to your own software, or hand your records to our team and get a report back. Both use the same calculation engine.

For platforms and developers

Connect through the API

Your system sends each completed trip to EmiTrax and gets the emissions back, with the full working behind it.

  • Trips recorded and calculated automatically
  • Separate, private figures for each business you serve
  • Shared loads split fairly between shipments
  • Calculation evidence kept for every trip
Suits freight marketplaces, delivery apps and fleet management software.
For businesses without software

We calculate it for you

Send us what you already keep, whether that's waybills, fuel receipts or a spreadsheet, and our team prepares your emissions report.

  • Paper records and spreadsheets welcome
  • Data checked before anything is calculated
  • Monthly reporting or a one-off report for a past period
  • Plain-English results you can share with customers
Suits transporters, parks and logistics firms that run on paper.
How it works

From trip records to a report you can use

Share your trip data

Through the API, a CSV upload, or by giving our team your records.

We check and calculate

Each trip is validated, then calculated with the right factors for the country it took place in.

See your figures

View them on your dashboard or in a report, with sources, data quality and any gaps clearly shown.

What we need from you

The more you can share, the more precise the result. Where fuel wasn't measured, we estimate it from distance using a recorded profile for the vehicle.

  • Distance travelled for each trip
  • Fuel or energy used, where you measure it
  • Vehicle and fuel type, for example a diesel van or petrol motorcycle
  • What was carried, so shared loads can be split between shipments
Your dashboard

Every trip, every month, in one place

Business customers get their own private dashboard with monthly totals, trip-level detail, reports and data uploads.

Why it matters

Emissions data is becoming part of doing business

Customers are asking

Larger companies now count the emissions of the deliveries they buy, and they ask their suppliers for the numbers.

Exporters need records

Businesses selling into Europe and the UK face growing questions about the carbon behind their goods, including transport.

Reporting rules are arriving

Sustainability reporting is being phased in for Nigerian companies, and transport is one of the easier places to start measuring.

Methodology & coverage

Clear about what we measure, and what we don't yet

EmiTrax follows the GLEC Framework v3.2 and ISO 14083, the main international references for freight emissions, and records the source of every factor it uses.

What's covered today

  • Road freight trips within Nigeria and within the UK
  • Motorcycles, cars, vans and trucks on petrol, diesel and CNG
  • Measured fuel, or estimates from distance
  • Loaded and empty running, and shared loads
  • UK factors from DESNZ 2026, and Nigerian petrol and diesel factors from Nigeria's December 2024 National Inventory Document

Not covered yet

  • Emissions from producing and supplying fuel in Nigeria. These are shown as unavailable, never as zero.
  • Grid electricity for electric vehicles in Nigeria
  • Cross-border trips
  • Rail, sea and air freight

We'll add these as reliable sources become available, and we'll say so here when we do.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need software to use EmiTrax?

No. If you keep paper waybills or spreadsheets, our team can collect and enter your records for you. If you run a platform or fleet system, you can connect it through the API.

Which countries does it cover?

Road trips within Nigeria and within the UK. The country where a trip takes place decides which factors are used.

Can other businesses see my figures?

No. Each business only sees its own data. On shared loads, you see your share of the emissions without details of anyone else's goods.

What's the difference between a subscription and a one-off report?

A subscription gives you ongoing monthly figures and dashboard access. A one-off report covers a past period you choose, for example for a tender or an overseas buyer.

When will EmiTrax be available?

We're completing testing now. Book a demo and we'll show you how it works and let you know as soon as it opens.
